A Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is available on new vehicle purchases when financing a minimum of $15,000 through a preferred lender. This warranty excludes commercial and specialty vehicles, as well as certain makes/models, including but not limited to luxury, exotic, electric vehicles, vehicles with 10-cylinder engines or larger, modified vehicles, DRW vehicles, vehicles with salvaged or rebuilt titles, and vehicles used for commercial purposes. Demo—short for demonstrator—vehicles are the cars, trucks, and SUVs that shoppers test drive at the dealership. A dealership might also lend these vehicles to customers while their car is getting serviced. Because of this, you may often see them labeled as “courtesy” or “loaner” vehicles. Even though they have been driven before, demo vehicles technically aren’t “used” because they have never been owned and registered by someone else.

Because a demo vehicle is considered new, you can still take advantage of any factory or sale deals like manufacturer rebates or promotions, a major advantage over used cars. Although you might have to subtract the miles the car already has from the manufacturer’s warranty mileage limit, the vehicle will still be eligible for those warranties. In addition, when you buy a courtesy vehicle from Buster Miles Ford, you enjoy the lifetime powertrain warranty that comes with all of our new cars.
